The Chair of Information Systems, Processes and Systems has about 40 employees in research, teaching and applied practice. Five interdisciplinary research groups are each headed by an experienced post-doc. The spectrum of research topics is as diverse as the interests and qualifications of the researchers. The scientific excellence of the chair is characterized by above average degrees in computer science, business informatics, economics, psychology or engineering. In addition, many PhD students and postdocs have several years of practical experience in industry or public administration. The explicit goal of the chair is the promotion of young researchers in research, in which especially young scientists are supported in their scientific (further) qualification. Thus, students can also participate in research projects as student assistants. They are given the opportunity to learn scientific work, make their own contributions and participate in conferences or congresses.
